Covid Safety Precautions
(Yes, still!)

We are as excited as anyone to re-introduce in-person gaming, but we are not making the decision lightly.  Despite the transition back to pre-Covid behaviors, there is no denying that the pandemic is still happening and that Covid is still a threat to everyone's health.  No one knows how long this will last, but The Deliberate Myth will not be a reason it goes on longer.  As we resume in-person games, we wanted to let you all know of the steps we are taking to keep everyone as safe as possible.

• All Deliberate Myth DMs are vaccinated and boosted.  We require all in-person players to be vaccinated, with the following two exceptions:

  1. Players who are too young to receive a vaccination, as per CDC

  2. Players who have a medical exception, as confirmed by their primary care physician.

• Players who are currently too young to receive a vaccination are expected to get one as soon as possible.

• Masks will be worn by all players and DMs, regardless of vaccination status, for the duration of all sessions.  This may be waived at the DM's discretion, and only if all parents are ok with it.  

• Players may not attend a session if they have had a fever or flu-like symptoms within 14 days of the session

• All locations will be cleaned and disinfected before and after all sessions.

• Players must bring their own dice, minis, rulebooks, writing materials, and notebooks. Players may not share their materials with other players.

• Players must always respect and follow the DM’s instructions regarding health-related matters.

• Players who violate or disregard these policies may be asked to leave the group without a refund.

 

IMPORTANT:  If you are registering for an In-Person Adventurer’s Academy campaign, you must complete and return this agreement before your campaign begins.  Please email your agreement and proof of vaccination to thedeliberatemyth@gmail.com with the phrase "Covid Agreement" and the player's full name in the subject line.  Players will not be allowed to participate in in-person campaigns, nor receive refunds for missed sessions, until this form is turned in.
