BIRTHDAYS and PARTIES

What better way to celebrate the annual "Level Up" than with a special party, crafted just for the guest of honor!  The Deliberate Myth offers three different types of parties, designed to stoke the imaginations and creativity of all participants.    Whether you want a classic Dungeons & Dragons adventure, a more arts and crafts take on things, an outdoor adventure, or a combo of the three... there is something to make your hero smile.  All parties can be run in-person or remotely, and are subject to our ongoing Covid policy. The Classic

Named for a reason!  Enjoy a start-to-finish, one shot D&D adventure, custom made for you and your friends.  Players will pick from a selection of pre-generated characters to play, or experienced players can provide their own.  Either way, the action kicks off almost immediately, hurling the players into a birthday adventure they won't soon forget!

• CLASSIC birthdays start at $250 for a minimum of 3 hours and up to 5 players total.  The three hours includes 2 1/2 hours of game play and 1/2 hour break for food, refreshments, cake,  etc.  We provide pre-made characters and a ready-to-go adventure!

• Additional time is available at $50/hour, prorated to the next 1/2 hour.

• Additional players are $10.00/player, per hour, for the total time booked. 

• Personalized packages are available as well!  The guest of honor will meet with their DM about a week before the event to create custom characters and adventure details.  Ask for more info!

The Arts

For the crafting enthusiast!  Choose from a number of different Dungeons & Dragons-themed projects, and The Deliberate Myth will guide your group through the process.  Craft and paint unique dice towers, custom character portraits, miniature painting, foam weapons, and more.  Makes for unique and memorable party favor!

• ARTS birthdays start at $200 for a minimum of 2 hours and up to  to 8 (eight) players as a stand-alone party.  The two hours includes 1 1/2 hours of crafting and 1/2 hour break.

• You may have more than one craft project per party.  However, different projects require different times.  Please contact us for time estimates for each project.

• ARTS parties are subject to an additional materials cost.  Cost TBD, depending on number of players and type of project(s).

• Additional time is available at $50/hour, prorated to the next 1/2 hour.

• Additional players are $10.00/player, per hour, for the total time booked.

The Action

Time to bring the action of the table outside!  Players will get to build their own soft foam swords, hammers,  and axes and play D&D versions of classic outdoor games like tag, hide and seek, capture the flag, battle royale, and more.  Or combine the Classic with the Action and have the players live out their adventure in real time!  Players get to take home their foam weapons as party favors.

Note on Large Parties​

To maintain the quality of the experience for all players, the total number of players is up to the DM running your party.  Larger groups (8+ players) may require additional hours and/or additional Dungeon Masters to make your party happen.
